We made it to November everyone, one more month to go and it will be 2026.
Thank you to everyone that came to November 5’s meeting at the Trails in Grangeville.
We would like to thank the following business sponsors:
Platinum Sponsors: Central Idaho Properties, Bud’s Powersports, Les Schwab Tires, Rae Brothers Sporting Goods, One for the Road, Grocery Outlet of Monroe, The Trails Restaurant, Helios Accounting
Gold Sponsors: Deer Creek Pines RV Park
Silver Sponsors: Gosselaar Power Sports, Sweetwater Design.
Thank you, Ed Anglesey (Vic President) for conducting the meeting for the Night.
Ed went over a few of the correspondences that came in: Spokes and Sprockets, also known as the High Mountain Trail Machine Association’s newsletter, The Grant for Equipment papers from Lacey Graham. At the last meeting Lacey and Karen Crosby, we were talking about grant money for the trail and things for the Trail Cat. Thank you to those ladies for being on it. (The next Trail Cat meeting will be November 19, from 1-3 at the Forest Service Office.)
A quick update was given by Bill and Ed on the gate and removal/moved the rocks on the Milner trail.
Todd was able to move the rocks using the pickup and excavator. So, we didn’t need to borrow or rent anything to do the job. This job has been several days for these members. Thank you Next for this trail will be in the spring, looking at the bridge and widening out parts of the trails that need it. Thank you goes to Finley Tree service for a job well done on the removal of trees and brush from Fish Creek to 4-courners. All the improvements to this trail will make it much better for next year. And for the Groomer this winter
This up-and-coming Banquet committee are working on changing it up a little for this event.
Some of the package deals will be a little different, like fire pit, patio furniture to mention. They are still looking for some help if you would like to help out with this committee, contact Bill and Kim Spencer. Mark your calendar for this event February 28,2026 at the Elks Lodge in Grangeville. We will be having a few more tables to fill. We will be keeping you posted when the dinner tickets go on sale.
New business:
The up and coming nominations for Officers for 2026, will be brought up at December’s meeting. Along with the next step for the six months CD that is coming due.
Membership dues will be coming due in January
We will be sending out the form with newsletter in January. If you paid any time after September it will be good for 2026. Or if you paid at the Appreciation BBQ at the park, it also will be good for 2026. We will have membership forms at the Banquet, at the Meetings, and the BBQ at Pittsburgh Landing. For those that are looking for them.
Some new Ideas for 2026 are a non-member (younger folks) to ride along with you for a trail ride.
The idea is to help spark interest in joining the club. Also, Kim mentioned bringing back the renewing club info. Flyers at Bud’s Powersports and Tackett’s when they buy a machine.
And what are everyone’s thoughts on stepping back in time and having a meeting down at Hoot’s Cafe. We would have to see what the hour of business are and if they would like to house us for meetings.
Hope everyone has a Wonderful Thanksgiving.
Hope to see you at December’s meeting 12/3/2025 @ 6:00pm @ the Trails in Grangeville.
