Holiday time is here. Things are going on all over to keep every one busy. Thanks to those that came to the meeting Last week on Wed.  Meeting was short but a lot of chit chat after words. Which is  always great to hear what everyone is up to.

Quick and to the point: was some much need trail work on both Big Canyon and Kirkwood.

1. Scheduled of Big Canyon will still be this year Nov. 22, Saturday meeting down at Pittsburg Landing 9:00am. Bring things to cut back the brush and move the rocks.

1. Not scheduled yet is Kirkwood: Here there is brushing and a tree that needs worked over. And then on the steep spots some hand work. (drainage and a rock that needs hammered out) At this point and time not sure when it will get scheduled.

1. We will be asking Jeramy Harris about the trail for 2015 and where he thinks it will be able to help out. We are hoping for it on areas of the Centennial trail and the Bullion Mine trail.  We will see by the next meeting if he knows yet.

A lot of changes going on in the Forest Service offices. The New Supervisor will be here on or around the 15th of this month. Jeramy Harris will be working with on the Nezperce/Clearwater National forest along with Elk City part. Ralph R. will have a new position.  And Rick will be leaving.

This year we worked hard on the Trail Ranger program getting all the trails open up, and two trail contracts. (One up Slate Creek and the other the 313 trail).  Both trails we will be going back in next year and doing some more.  Decommissioning of the old part on the Slate Creek trail and putting in water bars on the 313 trail.

2015 will be another year of bridge work and trail ranger program work. So with that we will be setting up another first aid class and a saw class for the renewals or new people.  Please let us know if you are interested. Thank you 839-2303 or email [email protected]

Decembers meeting will be election of officers and setting dates for Kirkwood cleanup.
