Join us for THE MILNER TRAIL Commissioners meeting

MONDAY: All Members and subscribers are invited to an official Idaho County Commissioners meeting at White Bird Station.

WHEN: Get there early – 8:30am to 8:45am on Monday morning, August 7, 2023

This is a huge and important milestone for the publics use of The milner trail – now and For future generations.

If you are in support of our Save The Milner Trail efforts, join us on Monday with IPA member, concerned citizens, and the Idaho County Commissioners for an outdoor meeting at White Bird Station – commencing at 9:00 am.

CONCERNING: Parties have filed a petition to vacate a portion of the trail at White Bird Station and at Adams Camp.

WHERE IS WHITE BIRD STATION: White Bird station is up the FS 221 Grangeville Salmon Road about mm 17. This part of the Milner Trail was illegally rerouted over a decade ago. Park along the side of the road near or at White Bird Station. The follow the caravan for observation and discussion concerning a petition filed requesting to vacate a portion of the trail at Adams Camp.

TUESDAY: all concerned citizens are invited to attend a commissioners hearing on The Matter of the petition filed to vacate a portion of The Milner Trail.

WHEN: Tuesday August 8, 2023 –

WHERE: The Idaho County Courthouse UPSTAIRS COURT ROOM.

ARRIVE at 12:30pm to get seated for the Commissioners hearing at 1:00

CONCERNING: Parties have filed a petition to vacate a portion of the trail at White Bird Station and Adams Camp. The Milner Trail belongs to the people and has been a concurrent trail since it began construction by Mose Milner, a gold mining, trapper, in 1861.
