September’s Newsletter 2015

September’s meeting was brought to order @ 7:00pm @ Hoot’s café. There was 13 members attending the meeting.

1. DRAMVU Draft notes have been made and will be filed this month. One copy will go to each of the following: Jenny Fischer, Cheryl Probert, and another will be sent to the Main office in Montana.
We went through and followed the one we submitted back in 2009. But this time it was the same trails with new comments that pertained to the 2015 DRAMVU Draft. We commented on both good and bad. But mostly on the Times that the trails were open.

2. 313 Trail Hauling rock in September has been Canceled do to the fires. Noal is out on fires at this time and hard to get a hold of. So when all the comes to a halt, then we will reschedule with him.
3. Avery Ride do to fires and not enough people wanting to go. The ride has been canceled at this time. Maybe next year we can try again.

The following information is about a “Benefit Poker Ride” for a family that has struggled with medical problems. The money raised will help out with traveling and motels for the doctors visits for the boys. The Lewiston RV center, Mac’s Cycle, and Red Lion are hosting it.
Date: September 27th
Place: Starting at Cruz Meadows (this is the same place we held our Steak feed at)
Time: Sign in is from 9:00-11:00am
This is about a 44 mile ride on County roads, with 5 check stations (one being a BBQ Hamburger station), Paying out 1,2,and 3rd places.
There will be an auction afterwards.

Next meeting will be October 7th @ Hoot’s Café. Should be another short one. November’s meeting we will start talking about 2016 rides and planes for the year.
Also we have been asked to start back up with meetings again in Grangeville. So at the next meeting we hope some one will being ideas.
