Welcome to the Grangeville Mountain Rescue Unit, a part of Idaho County Search & Rescue.
We’re a trained volunteer organization that assists the local Idaho County Sheriffs Department with ground search and rescue operations in the region of Idaho County and, at times, the surrounding areas. Search methods include but are not limited to:
- On Foot
- Horseback
- ATV
- Motorcycle or Dirt Bike
- Snow-Machine
- Helicopter
- Jet Boat
Grangeville Mountain Rescue is a non-profit organization funded by private donations and fundraisers, as well as government grants.
