May 2017 Newsletter

The nice weather is finally here. HAY!!. May’s meeting was brought to order in the backroom of Hoot’s Café May 3rd @ 7:00pm. There was 16 members attending.

1.The Show and Shine for May 20th has been canceled. Not enough support.

2.Fun Run in June, We will be working with the High Mountain Trail Machine Association on putting on a OHV Training and Fun Run June 24th.  June 24th. Starts at 9:00 with ATV & Motorcyle training classes. And a fun run starting at 1:00

3.Trail work days for the Trail Ranger Program: (all these depend on the snow)

           June 24th and 25 at McComas Meadows

           July 8-9th on the Centennial Trail

Thank you to those that worked on Big Canyon and Kirkwood already.

 

  1. For the 2016 Trail Ranger Program Workers, The Hats and gas cards are in.
  2. Nathan Sparks is going to wait to put the trail cat in Kirkwood till this fall.
  3. CPR Class will be May 17th, Rick, Dean, Don, Britta, Larry, Randy, Brenda, Michelle and Rick. This will be held at GEMS in the Library with Tracy B. Starting 5:30
  4. Saw Class will be at Slate Creek: Randy, Don, Rick, Dean, Rick
  5. Elk City Wagon Road has asked us to join them.

ELK CITY WAGON ROAD ONE-DAY ADVENTURE

TRIP BEGINS AN CLEARWATER MAIN STREET     08:15AM

 

Trip is at your own risk. The Friends of the Elk City Wagon Road assumes 

NO liabilty during the adventure trip.  No RVs aor oversized vehicles allowed due to the primitive road conditions
