May Newsletter

It has been awhile since we posted our Newsletter, with so much going on and an Officer change out in the middle of setting up our fundraiser we should be back on track.

We would like to thank 2023’s Business Sponsors:

Platinum Sponsor:

  • Central Idaho Properties
  • Bud’s Power Sports

Gold Sponsor:

  • Gosselar Power Sports

For the ride report on the Pittsburgh Landing: The weather was marvelous. Thank you to our Cooks: Todd, Bob and Ron. They kept the hamburgers and hot dogs rolling through so no waiting. There was a great turn out and a big Thank You for all the people that brought side dishes. This year’s winner of the 50/50 raffle was Lacey Graham. Thank you to everyone that participated.

We had an Officer change out at the April meeting. Todd Stenzel is President and Bill Spencer is VP. Curtis Graham is the new Secretary and Brenda Seubert is back as Treasurer.

Shortly following the April meeting we had our fundraiser dinner and it was a huge success! A BIG Thanks to all the committee members for all of their hard work to make this happen.

Thank you to all those that have paid their 2023 membership dues. If you are needing a membership form please email us [email protected] or call Curtis @ 208-451-0373.

Now on to the May 3rd meeting. We had 16 members attend the meeting.

The meeting started at 7:01. The previous meeting minutes were read and approved.

The bills were easy to solve. Print shop for $268.29 for prints for the fundraiser event. Idaho County Free Press for $45.00 for some facebook advertising for the fundraiser event.

We discussed the Banquet results. A milner trail update with a commissioners meeting that followed on May 9th. We are still talking about a Milner Trail ride for sometime this summer, but we are still waiting for the snow to melt off and will discuss further in the next meeting. We have submitted our Trail Ranger paperwork to the Forest Service and waiting to hear back from them. If anyone is interested in clearing trails we are setting up a First Aid course and the saw certification coarse please contact us by email to get your name added to the list.

It’s that time of year when we have to start thinking about  insurance. We have to have ideas for rides in order for them to decide on what to charge us. If you have any ideas or suggestions on club rides please bring them to the next meeting or email them in. And one of the committee members will bring it.

The meeting adjourned at 8:30pm

The next meeting we will be in Grangeville at 7pm, June 7th at the Trails Restaurant.
