March 2018 Newsletter

Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting on March 07, 2018 at the Pizza Factory in Grangeville.  We had another great turnout. It’s wonderful to see everyone getting involved!!!

SNAIL MAIL:

-WOW it’s expensive and very time consuming.  Ink, paper, labels, stampsIn an effort to save the club money and save RaWanda time (she has a full time job too), starting next month,  snail mail will only be sent to those people who do not have a computer that they can read the newsletter on. If you need snail mail give RaWanda a call at 208-983-3517.  Thank you for helping the club save money and save RaWanda time, she appreciates it VERY MUCH!

-If you are not already signed up to get automatically get emailed newsletters go to IdahoPathfinders.org, put your email address in and confirm that you’re human. It will send a confirmation to your email address, you’ll need to confirm before it will send you anything.  Email RaWanda at [email protected] if you want her to put your email address in she’ll be happy to help!

FUN RIDES

-Thank you for all your suggestions.  Todd Stenzel did remind us that we can have rides during the week!  Don Eckford volunteer to plan a ride:  French Creek, Burgdorf, Kerry Creek  He’ll let us know when that will be.  Thank you don for all your hard work!

BBQ AT PITTSBURG LANDING March 18, 2018 (to coincide with White Bird Sausage Feed which starts at 7:00 am). BBQ will be served from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please bring a side dish to share with everyone.

-LOGO CLOTHING, STICKERS AND HATS WILL BE AVAILABLE – donation of $10.00 for hats and t-shirts, $15 for hoodies, $1 for sticker.  If you sing up by march 31st your sticker is free. (Thank you for advertising, that will help the membership drive.  We have them and we have hooded sweatshirts.   The t-shirts are $10.00 donation…thanks for advertising, that will help with our membership drive.  We have black, forest green and cream. 

SCHEDULED CLEAN UP RIDES

  -KIRKWOOD Trail Clean Up:  April 14, 2018:  Meet at 9:00 (pacific) at Lucile, at the river

  -BIG CANYON Trail Clean Up:  March 24, 2018:  Meet at 9:00 (pacific) at trail head

WEBSITE UPDATE:  Many updates to the website….

-CALENDAR: Check out the calendar (top right)  You can download the calendar to interface with your Gmail/Google calendar.  Click on the calendar, click on bottom right :  +google  then open your calendar and it will sync.  Need help? call RaWanda 208-983-3517.

-DUES/SPONSOR FORMS: Coming soon, fill in forms on line then pay with charge card or Paypal  thank you Mary Mangold for setting this up.
