June Meeting: What a fun meeting we had on the 6th! 21 members and 1 guest participated. Everyone brought a side dish/dessert (really tasty ones too) to go with the Heckman’s Hamburgers. OMGosh hand pressed burgers on the IPA grill by the Great IPA Chefs… Dean and Bob! We had the BBQ and meeting at the recreational center in White Bird. What a nice facility, very large room. Thank you everyone for bringing food, thank you Dean and Brenda for the burgers and of course the chefs for cooking up those yummy burgers! Swiftwater RV park has a meeting room that they are willing to let us use for meetings in White Bird, Thank you very much!
NEW, NEW, NEW! Maps! Check out the Idaho Trails Maps link (right near bottom) on the website idahopathfinders.org, It will take you to the trailida.gov maps. Very detailed! Thank You Mary Mangold, Wild Web West, for taking time out of your busy schedule to get that link set up!
Grants: Brenda is working on another (time consuming) grant for the club, thank you Brenda!
Trails:
In General: So much was covered on the trails at the meeting that it would take up the whole newsletter. There are a lot of people working very hard to keep the trails open, clean the trails, add connectors and much more. If you want to get involved give the President or Vice President a call. We need all the help we can get…makes less work for each of us. Remember it takes a village! “Be the village” what movie was that?
