Happy New Year! Hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season and all your wishes came true!
A BIG thank you to our 2018 sponsors: Central Idaho Properties Real Estate, Grangeville; Swiftwater RV, White Bird; Bud’s Powersports Cottonwood, PJ Walker, and Gosselaar Power Sports, Grangeville! We hope you’ll sponsor us again in 2019!
Don’t forget to look at the calendar on our website for updates of meetings, rides etc. idahopathfinders.org (top of page right hand tab “CALENDAR”)
Our next meeting will be on January 9th at 6:00 pm at the Pizza Factory, 126 W Main St, Grangeville. If you would like to eat during the meeting you can call ahead and order so it will be ready, 208-983-5555. The reason the meeting is being held at 6:00 instead of 7:00 is the time change and safety of our members. We have people coming from Pollock/Riggins area and with the time change it’s getting dark earlier. The meeting time will be determined on a month to month basis at the previous meeting so watch the calendar at idahopathfinders.org and/or Facebook for updates.
The last 3 months have been fairly uneventful for many and busy for others. No fun rides due to weather. The 303 Trail is completed, lots of big equipment work by Steve D. We’ll be trying to get a new trail re-routed this coming season, IPA officers and the Forest Service are working closely to get things done.
We’re still working to make it possible to pay your dues and sign the membership paperwork on line. As soon as that gets set up we’ll send out an email. For the time being it’s the old “snail mail” system. You can print the form online and then mail it to IPA, POB 53, White Bird, ID 83554 or you can scan it and email it to [email protected]. It’s really inexpensive to be a member and your money goes towards keeping the trails clean and open. $20.00 per person or for a family, living under the same roof, it’s $25.00. THANK YOU!
The 2019 officers will get the 2019 schedule to you for rides, BBQ, trail cleaning (this is my favorite time to ride!), fundraisers etc as soon as they have a schedule (keep looking at the calendar for updates). As always suggestions are welcome! We just want to have fun while we work…hummm sounds like the 7 dwarfs song :-)…anyone old enough to remember the name of it?
The club is still very involved keeping the trails open for everyone to enjoy, please remember “it takes a village”.
Happy Trails in 2019!
