Grouse Creek ATV Bridges

September 25, an eight persons crew went to work on the Grouse Creek Bridges. They worked along with Josh Lattin, Nez Perce Forest Service. Josh taught the crew how to make nail glue lam bridges.

Josh brought in all the material. While the IPA crew brought all the tools to do the work. (generators, hammers, tape measures, drills, punches, air compressor, and ATV dump beds for hauling rock) Steve Dauglish brought in a small excavator for the cleaning out and placing the rock.

The Crew started that morning 8:00 am Hauling rock and starting on the farthest bridge. By noon the part of the crew was started on the second bridge while the rest finished up on the first on. Dusk was setting in by the time the

second bridge was finished. And the remaining rock was hauled and placed by ATV headlights.

Thank you to Josh for sticking with us and finishing the project. We hope to do more project with Josh. Great Crew and Great Time. We even got to see Kenny work!!
