Septembers meeting was a short and sweat one. We hit on quick topic and called it a night.
- 313 Trail: The bridge work was finished. Thank you to those that came and helped, Del H., Nick C., Les S., Don E., Steve D., Dean H., Brenda H., Marie H.
We had 5 dump trailers, one person on a rake, and two excavators that worked with the Forest Service. We started 7:00 that morning and finished around 5:00 with a lunch in the middle. Great job!
- Ride to Cool water: Due to the fires in that area. The ride has been canceled and moved to a one day ride to Mackey Bar. We are riding on the 14th, leaving Dixie Summit @ 9:00am Pacific Time. It will be nice to go in and see the Remodeled Mackey Bar Resort. Should be a good day. Cool in the morning and warmer in the afternoon.
- We are looking into a ride up at Avery in October. This will be Ride on Saturday and a short ride on Sunday (maybe the second weekend). There is a nice RV Park with cabins there or a Motel. We will have the date and phone # soon. Watch the Web page or the next newsletter will have it.
- We are starting to look into next years rides. We have an idea to go from Slate Creek-Dead Horse-Nut Basin and back around.
If you have any more rides for the club and are willing to head them Please let us know.
