CIEDRA Bill (House Hearing)

PLEASE READ AND RESPOND AS USERS OF TRAILS: Names and address are listed below!!

Republican Rep. Raul Labrador moved against the motorized community today at the House Hearing for the CIEDRA bill. The senator claims that motorized recreation users only support the bill because they fear the alternative, a national monument designation by President Barack Obama. “The truth is, the public will is against this bill…” Labrador said. The CIEDRA bill which would permanently secure public land and multi-use trails for everyone to use, is supported by all ITMA chapters, Idaho Senators Risch and Simpson, The Sawtooth Society, The Custer County Commission, East Fork Ranchers, The Idaho Farm Bureau, The Idaho Cattle Association, Idaho Outfitters and Guides, The Idaho Conservation League, The Wilderness Society and the Idaho Recreation Council. The bill also has support from BLM Deputy Director Karen Mouritsen and Forest Service Deputy Chief Leslie Weldon.

TVTMA encourages you to contact Representative Labrador and tell him that Idaho and Americans do indeed support the bill that will lock in access for everyone! Republican Rep.
