Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! (This May Newsletter was emailed Sunday to all members).
Well, it has been a while since we have had a newsletter. So, we will backtrack just a little bit.
We had a great turn out at our Fundraiser Event. Our community did awesome again this year with all the donations and support for our club. We would like to thank everyone on the fundraiser committee that put in the time and effort to make this event great!
Next up was our annual Membership Drive BBQ down at Pittsburg Landing. We started the day off in Whitebird for the Joe Willson sausage and hotcake breakfast then made our way over to Pittsburgh Landing. It was a beautiful day to soak up some sun and enjoy some burgers and camaraderie. We had 40+ members sign up that day and now we have a total of 110 club members.
Currently there is no more news on the Milner Trail. We are still waiting for the Finding of Facts from the County Attorney.
We have decided to do 5 rides this year and a couple more BBQ’s!
At the last meeting we tallied some votes and here are the rides:
• Pittsburgh Landing BBQ with a ride up Big Canyon
• Milner Trail ride (Fish Creek Pavilion is reserved for June 23rd)
• McComas Meadows
• Fog Mountain
• We have a tie (Scott Ranch or Florence-Nut Basin-Chair Point)
A couple more rides to mark on the calendar:
- The P.L.A.Y. Club in Orofino will be hosting their Camp 60 ride on June 29th.
- The Elk City Dust Devils along with the Idaho County Sheriff Dept will be hosting their Veteran’s Ride on July 20th. We have already had a few members sign up to help with the event. If you want to help, please contact one of the IPA Officers, and we will add you to the volunteer sign-up sheet.
