Join us for a fun adventure over the mountain tops from the Salmon River to the Snake River for our destination at Pittsburgh Landing campgrounds.
This annual event is ALWAYS a good time. Bring the family, get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air and mild temps in the Hells Canyon Recreation Area.
The Idaho Pathfinders Club will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs at the campground from 11-1 Pacific Time. (bring your own drinks).
Donations always welcome.
Many of our members park at the Old White Bird Mill Site on the west side of the Salmon River. Take one of 2 White Bird Exits off Hwy 95 and travel towards Silver bridge next to Swiftwater RV Park, crossing the Salmon River. On the other side, turn left onto Deer Creek Road. A few hundred yards on the left is the old Mill Site where you can park, unload your side by sides or ATVs.
From there, head up the mountain to follow signs to Pittsburgh Landing. Be sure you have plenty of gas as your travel to get up the mountain is 17 miles of county road. Once there, just drive into the picnic area where you’ll see our Pavilion and lots of side by sides and ATV riders.
(Club members are asked to bring a side dish to share.)
Thank you to Les, Bob, and Dean for volunteering to cook.
We will have memberships available, 50/50 tickets, hats and t-shirts.
Remember that White Bird always has the St. Paddy’s Sausage Feed Fundraiser with delicious home cooked vittles for breakfast.
